The idea for MINGUZ
originated in Antwerp, Belgium,
in the long
hot summer of 2006.
MINGUZ produces songs for bass, drums and male
vocals,
with sparsely added homegrown samples.
The
MINGUZ rule:
A song comes to life only when the
composer grants
it a soul
Silence and Emptiness are like musical instruments
and deserve as much attention as music and lyrics.
Groove and Punch have many meanings
and different disguises.
MINGUZ does
not refer to
Mr
Charles Mingus,
nor to any so-called
Fish.
MINGUZ is Doozy on bass & vocals and
Joez on drums & sampler.
